muahaha... here's the not so long waited partwo of my first gathering... which is supposed to be like a gathering for all my friends, and i was suppose to announce " weeee~! me, unclejosh is finally going to have his convocation after so very long... finally an official graduate "

i was always delaying my convo, and when i am up for it--i always miss the duedate for registration... T_T

and now, presenting the...



she's wendy~! the rare appearence, an ipoh girl who studies in penang but works in KL... so weird~!


kari was vain as usual and so we self-portrait-ed ourself~!


these two pretties were stoning there with whatever they are holding in their hands and not talking...


and, i was caught eating while tumpahsusu is trying to get his pizza...


and you see~~ these two lucky ladies... to have two good looking chap to be in the picture with them


well... vainpot right????


and now, she even influence my nephew to be as vain as her....


when it all ended, guards came~! OMG~! and i served them 100-plus because they can't take alcohol...

on and all, i really had a nice time eventhough it was quite a headache dealing with all the technical problem... it has been a long time since people gather up in a non-shopping complex, non-event area... ^_^

hoping for the next UnclejOsh Gathering to be more successful... it is not the place nor the food but the company that matter... and i must say, i had one hell of a great company that night...

Singapore Night F1

Weee~! was watching Singapore's Night F1 on a super huge TV at my friend's place... super nice to watch it... all the drama and mistakes that the drivers do...

oh yes... i was being a total pig half the day today... unable to have proper sleep because different people kept calling me at different hours of the day... T_T

CARBONARA WON first place~! his 2oth victory~ weee~! opppss... it's alfredo.... nonono... it's alonso~! the chubby fella who has lost weight and now look pretty leng chai.
don't know what's his problem--he was being totally unfriendly to the other two guys (hamilton and rosberg)

just a super short random update as i find that this F1 is just simply amazing... ^_^ the kiasu singaporeans actually did so much... during practise run--the lights are too dark... drivers complained that there were uneven lighting along the track, and guess what; over two days... they fixed it and it looks really good now but still... the track is bumpy, can see how the cars bounce and how some of the drivers have to avoid braking at certain areas as it is just too bumpy... if i am not mistaken, one of the areas is where riki crashed that beautiful red piece of art...

have fun for the coming week... more update owh..

UncleJosh Gathering 1 -partone

thanks to those who came... in fact... it is the small little gathering i hold be cause i'm soon going to be an official graduate... its just a small party where some of those that were closer to me came... it was really nice and cozy...

anyway, to those who couldn't make it... it was still really nice of you to have given the thought and heart to come.

hmm... up this this late hour, i've yet to get an actual proper confirmation from half of the people who say they would come... and the other half might be FFK-ing me... oh well... i was just hoping to have a little gathering for everyone but apparently not many are showing up and so i don't know what to say either ^_^

hope those who are able to come would come and make it a blast :) who knows there might be a after party party ^_^

Green:

Coming from Old Klang Road (Jalan Klang Lama) From Midvalley, Look for Jalan Klang Lama. On Jalan Klang Lama, Turn Left on the 2nd Traffic Light (should have a market on your left)

Go all the way straight(up the hill and down the hill), Turn right at traffic light after passing KFC and Pizzahut on your left.

Go straight after traffic light until you reach Macdonalds / Shell on your left. Call me Upon reaching there or if you understand the map, come to the guardhouse ( the left one, next to shops) find parking and call me.

Blue:

Coming from Subang via NPE.
Go all the way straight pass two RM1.60 toll on NPE, keep right after 2nd toll. Speed all the way on your right lane and drift under a passage and BRAKE at the traffic light.

Go straight after traffic light until you reach Macdonalds / Shell on your left. Call me Upon reaching there or if you understand the map, come to the guardhouse ( the left one, next to shops) find parking and call me.

Pink / Purple:

Coming from KL or through Seremban Highway, look for the sign to Kuchai Lama and Subang / NPE highway. Turn left up the bridge. As you're coming off the bridge, keep left and follow the road to the left (going straight = going to subang).

You would come to a traffic light, go straight after traffic light until you reach Macdonalds / Shell on your left. Call me Upon reaching there or if you understand the map, come to the guardhouse ( the left one, next to shops) find parking and call me.

p/s: i know its not the BEST MAP i've done but do use it properly. ^_^

Boo-hooo~!

boo-hooo~! dislike rain around this time of the day, there isn't any sun to dry up the road and it just makes people sleepy and tired... i would love rain in the afternoon for just an hour, keep the heat down during the hottest time of the day then the rest of the day would be cooling.

oh well... just found out that if you guys need to take bus outstation, balik kampung or what nots, you have to go to Bukit Jalil. There's two side of the road, one for Selatan (south) and the other for north... i think, puduraya is not serving as usual i believe. feel so stupid for not readin the newspaper lately. apparently, this would last until october 15th and it started on the 15th of september.

those that drive or have a car or always sit your friend's car or perhaps just daily passenger in your family car... MAKE sure your passenger wears the seatbelt in back and those that loves sitting in the back of the car, WEAR YOUR SEATBELTS... not only for your own safety but for your driver's wallet sake... festive season is around the corner, police are conducting all kinds of operation here and there--hiding in the corner wearing this black jacket or at some t-junction to have extras for their own festive reasons. so take care on the road.

guess what? was at velvet and bumped into one of my old friend with one of my newly acquainted friend--she's SABRINA OOI and she recently started BLOGGING~! kakaka...

and i believe there's this Hennessy Artistry, Global Art of Mixing is happening in Orange KL this Saturday 27th of September. Wonder who's going and who's not eh? Anyone has invites for me? :D

as i've always do and say, i do not get to update as often as i used to and the privilege to post as much as i want due to the fact that its either i'm out or i've inthenet to use or that i'm working... well... as mostofyou have realised, my blog is slacking and lacking materials...

i do not update on every single detail of my daily life but i do share when i've things to share ^^

watched Money No Enough, and trust me... i've teared like a 3 year old boy who has lost his toy. yes yes... i know... it is supposed to be a comedy but it has so much for us to relate, a good movie is a movie where you felt so intensively drawn into being the character within the script.

how would life be when we're old and unable to take care of ourself? would you like to be left at the old folks home? with your children? grandchildren? who is really patient enough to care for your daily needs? laying in that hospital ward that drains the very life out of your family's bank account. just like in the movie, SGD8,000 a night--that's about 18,000MYR. being unable to voice out your thoughts, impaired vision, and being half way to being paralyzed; what are you to do? fight on to live and for every night you're alive, you are taking away a year's salary from your children. the dilemma.

oh well... life is tough so i guess do what you deem right now and not to regret in the future. are we able to give the best to our children and to our own family--especially our parents when they are old. how would we be treated when we're old? hmm... so many questions going through my mind now.

don't want to be long winded or too brief with my post. don't know which one works better, just photos to show you that i've been to somewhere with someone doing something or just sharing my thoughts with you because i sincerely hope to share the best in my life with those bother to read.

past leaves trails,

future gives hopes,

present allows choice,

affecting those in it.

Not Enough Money

Recently, after fuel price hike and all these random things happening--we malaysian still stand strong and i think it's because we're hardy people. afterall, malaysian workers are generally underpaid.

look at the security guards, one of the lowest requirement job paying at about 800 to about 1200. at time perhaps 1400. noone wants to take up the job, therefore given to older men whose hair is already white and old enough to be my father. they are even given a shot gun, do you think they can hold the recoil? it's so lowly paid and lowly viewed that noone wants to take up such a position. in other countries, security guards would make more than they would ever make in malaysia.

a uni graduate, starting pay for marketing students? 1600 before confirmation, perhaps 1800-2000 upon confirmation. luckier ones who go into financial sector, 1800 before confirmation, 2400 upon confirmation. how on earth are we able to pay off the loan we took to complete our degree in the first place?

how on earth did we survive and still have our nice camera phones, mp3 players, internet, laptop and so forth? it is because we save~! don't you think so? we often starve ourself eating things we do not like. spendthrift and save but i guess saving wouldn't get us far.

have a look at this webbie, i think it has some collection of tips and tricks we malaysian use to survive in this harsh economy status. i've posted a few too, let me know what you think of it... ^_^ perhaps you could share some with the rest of the world too.

UncleJosh Gathering

was at my friend's place and i couldn't help but take a shot at the scenery at his balcony... ^_^



as you guys know, tomorrow (14/09/08) is Mid-Autumn Festival or Mooncake Festival. I don't think many of you guys actually celebrate or gather up for such an occasion but still i would like to make a Gathering on the 26th or 27th of September 2008 for all the bloggers i've known. It would be a potluck and location would be a poolside around old klang road.

Venue: Kuchai Lama
Time: 8pm until late night
Date: 26th of September 2008

If anyone has better location or place to offer, maybe your house, your front yard or etc. This time i put this gathering way up ahead so you guys have time to make some arrangements. i know alot of you guys know each other but i am sure there are also people that knows me--yet do not know each other. this would be a gathering for all bloggers of all ages and races to come together to mingle around.

Merdeka Endurance 2008 pt2

muahaha... it's wednesday~! wow... wah~! weee~! half-price movie tickets all over... let's go watch a movie... but then again... because i've not update for 2 days, this is something to make it up to you guys--a continuation of the first part. i know not many of you are keen on these kind of non-related issue to you but still i think it's nice~! so too bad if you don't like :P

Sunday Dinner Dining

Food~! Food~! was with her in Gardens and we went to this Jap restaurant on the 3rd floor or something, next to Ocha. in fact, i booked a place for 6pm because i thought it might be full or hard to get a place but it turned out differently. i totally forgot malaysian time is a bit off as with the meal time--breakfast would be past 10am, lunch past 3pm, dinner past 8pm. we were there at 6.10pm and the place was like empty.

wagyu beef is so very nice when its cooked medium-well but i think kobe beef is better ^^


weee~! how can malaysian have no rice? ^^ stone grilled garlic fried rice... *slurps*

overall, i would say this meal was rather alright as i got good food~! yummyummy the price is alright and the service is good ^^ they actually explain to me what is what and etc... i actually let them keep the change~!

*even though it was only 45cents but... but... they already charged me service charge...~! ^^

Quick Update

hello there people, i know i've been not updating for the past week and i apologize. work was a little hectic, life was chaotic and things just got a little messy here and there but i guess i can do a quick update here... i know i know... no more boring updates and boring things to show you guys...


muahahaha.... Civic is ahead of ARSEton Martini...


there there.... wondering eh? yes yes... i was in sepang for malaysia's merdeka endurance race that last for a freaking 12 hours; cars are to continuously run for 12 hours and see who would be able to finish the most laps within the period with the same car they started off. each car is allowed to have 3 drivers in which would take turns to race against time to finish more laps than their competitors. it was scorching hot but thank god there were some clouds to give us shelter from the merciless sun trying to burn my skin... ^_^


then again, these are just the tip of the iceberg--more to come in the upcoming update... ^_^
