Split Agreements

i know i know, i've not been posting up food, pictures, outings and any other happening things about my life. of late, i just felt like simply spilling out what i've in my mind and share it with the world because.... i've got your attention~! (: i would continue to blog about my outings soon... i promise~!

been in this place where you have to think with both your brains because you're trying your best to understand both sides of a situation and realized that both have their point--splitting you into two entirely different entity seeking for that answer that eventually can be a solution to both these problems? or opposing issues?

often i would just dismiss both angle and look at it from an entirely new perspective in which would broaden my view. i would just look at one particular object and just figure out some of the feature it has and why doesn't it possess...

pick up your cellular phone / hand phone / mobile phone (whichever name you use for it)... look at it... do you remember when you bought it? was it worth the price you paid? does it have the features you need or want? does it have the design and looks to meet your desire? then look at it from a different angle, do i need these features? are these features even relevant? does the design suit my personality and etc etc etc... the list can be endless...

now... look at it from the manufacturer's view... " i made phone A with 1,2,3,4 features... and now i make phone B with 2,3,4,5 features... " and then " i would go and make phone C with only 2,3,4 features " after in which he market out these three phone in different ways to fulfill the needs of the niche market but in general... what we need in a phone as a basic is to call/receive call and to send/receive text from another individual... why do they come up with all these different features and yet never put everything into one? it's their way of increasing the sales and making us buy things that we do not need... creating desires and wants for us and to certain extent... these conglomerate has the capability to create NEEDS for us

NEEDS for us is suppose to be food, shelter and clothing... the rest are higher level of needs...

do we need to wear branded / designer wear? do we need to have a up-to-date color screen hand phone with camera? in fact, do we even need a color screen to begin with? do we need to try out all the fine cuisines, newest club, newest this and the newest of that, and perhaps the need to get a HOT looking partner?

All these wants and desires have transpired into NEEDS that we subconsciously seek.

now... have i prompt any sort of thoughts ? did i just split your thoughts ? muahaha... i wonder if i did... but then again... don't we all want something better or the best for ourself?

it's not a crime nor it's something you can live on without feeling the slightest guilt--spending you r parent's money in ways you shouldn't have spent... or if you're working... spending money in which you could use to improve your life rather than splurging on that 70% sale you heard about from you colleague... or maybe...

i've this little philosophy for the females but in fact applies to males (probably in the minority)

people wears their best outfit or perhaps try their best to dress up... to visit the nearby mall or boutique or wherever they can buy clothes... and what do they do when they are there? they would eventually SHOP and buy... so they are able to look good the next time they go shopping for newer clothes in which would allow them to repeat the entire process all over again... :)

partially true... partially not true... some buy a few item at one shot when they go out... some are meant for college/ work / events but most of the time the best ones are either for clubbing or dating or outing to ? shopping mall~! what do they do when they are there? SHOP~! ^_^

living life as we live,
needing to live our life,
wanting to live our life,
ending with either one.

Life is to enjoy not suffer,
Needing is call life,
Needless is call lifeless,
Brands is to decorating not keeping it in museum,
Design is to color the life not making it black and white,
Nevertheless, that just a part of life.

Cheer.

I suck at shopping. I don't give shoes, accessories, clothes, makeup (I hate makeup and don't use them) or bags a second glance. BUT (here's the big 'but'), I love books! So ya, maybe that's included as shopping.

I do remember the prices of stuff I bought: mobile phone, cameras, laptop, etc. I go for functionality and largely based on needs more than wants.

Oh ya, one more item to add into shopping: investments (think unit trust, insurance, etc). This auntie gotta think about retirement, you know. It's not that far down the road...
