Not Enough Money

Recently, after fuel price hike and all these random things happening--we malaysian still stand strong and i think it's because we're hardy people. afterall, malaysian workers are generally underpaid.

look at the security guards, one of the lowest requirement job paying at about 800 to about 1200. at time perhaps 1400. noone wants to take up the job, therefore given to older men whose hair is already white and old enough to be my father. they are even given a shot gun, do you think they can hold the recoil? it's so lowly paid and lowly viewed that noone wants to take up such a position. in other countries, security guards would make more than they would ever make in malaysia.

a uni graduate, starting pay for marketing students? 1600 before confirmation, perhaps 1800-2000 upon confirmation. luckier ones who go into financial sector, 1800 before confirmation, 2400 upon confirmation. how on earth are we able to pay off the loan we took to complete our degree in the first place?

how on earth did we survive and still have our nice camera phones, mp3 players, internet, laptop and so forth? it is because we save~! don't you think so? we often starve ourself eating things we do not like. spendthrift and save but i guess saving wouldn't get us far.
