Uncle Missing

Heaps and heaps, tonnes and tonnes of stuff to do over the weekend and it was awesome... i guess, don't know why yet but would soon to find out was it worth it. THIS blog is being left to die over the weekend, been able to log in to see some of the replies and etc but haven't been able to slot in some time to actually update it--deeply sorry. Searched through some of my archieves and i found these to share with you guys. Hopefully, i would be able to remember to update you guys about thing that happened over the weekend. At this very moment, perhaps just tantalize your eyes with what i've captured. ^_^

First in line is one of those things that are sinful yet tasteful... FOR chocolate lovers, Hershey's is a name related to chocolate regularly... for them to come up with this with Burger King was like... are they trying some marketing gimmick? Hershey's Chocolate Cake in burger king? I was like wth... haha... a little sarcastic but i did went into burger king just for this...

I totally forgot how much it is but for the taste and the looks of it... it has gotten a (: from unclejosh when he opened up the box.

Burger King's Hershey's Chocolate Cake gets an amazing 4.5/6

Next comes the Nasi Lemak that people know from all parts of KL... The Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng from Sea Park in which is also known as Taman Sea. It's not VERY VERY nice but if you've tried it, you would miss it and would make an effort to just go there to have a plate of it.
I was passing by the junction into Tmn Sea and suddenly, i've this urge to taste this nasi lemak. Went back to the office, asked if any of my colleague knows about the place, in which to my amazement--none of them knows about the place. As the generous uncle he is, uncle josh has decided to bring this people to try out the nasi lemak. Oh yes, he even made his girlfriend to come along too... hahaha...

and the sambal is really nice too because it's not really spicy and it just makes you want to keep eating it... they gave us a whole bowl of it because everyone of us ordered nasi lemak and the bowl was emptied before our rice is finished.

*you guys must be thinking... "wow... it must be nice eh?"*

well... to much astonishment, unclejosh's colleague and girlfriend said... "not bad, but still it's not as good as ...................... (each one saying a different place)". Isn't it really ironic that their plate is empty and they are like comparing it to the one that they think is better.

>.<

rating : 3.5/6

Unclejosh's girl's brother came back from Japan... he often goes there... (probably big business eh?) but anyhow, he's nice enough to buy me a souvenir from Hokkaido. (:

nice eh?

White Chocolate made from some of the finest milk in Japan, with the soft crispe texture of the biscuit sandwiching. One bite and you would want to just close your eyes for a second just to enjoy it.

*probably exagerating but worth a try to close your eyes and try something flown in from Japan right?*

------------------------------------------------------

This was a while back, when my colleague brought me half way around One Utama to a place that i've never knew about as it is located at a place that i would ever go during the day. Malaysia's weather is just too good for us to be traveling outside but guess what?

The place was FULL.

This plate of rice is priced reasonably and it looks pretty good right... but taste a little off the expectation i've for it as unclejosh was expecting something else. This plate of fried rice is Nasi Goreng Cendawan and it doesn't come with the sunny side up--unclejosh has to "tambah mata kerbau".

This place is called the Jetty which is actually on the outside of One Utama, near the pond place--i believe those who clubs would know about the place as Mardigrass is right next to the pond too. ^_^

VERDICT, the place is nice but the food is a little disappointing, the fried rice got an amazing 2.5/6. a new record, the lowest that unclejosh has ever rated any food

Ones that we adore,

We often admire too,

Twice it would hurt,

Just because we care more.

hey, you know i used to work part time in 1utama, in the fragrance and makeup department..

and my colleagues and i frequently go to jetty for lunch or dinner!

jetty and the restaurant next to it, fisherman, is very very well known among us workers in 1utama. ahah, it's always packed with workers from 1u, rather than shoppers :P

the food ain't to bad to me tho.. maybe it was your unlucky day? but i would say the salted fish fried rice is better tho.

eheh. hv a great day there =)
