Sweet Hearts

A sudden urge to just snap some random pics... ^^ we often call our other half sweet hearts because ... ? Probably because they are the sweeteners of our heart and soul. That candy that puts that smile back on our face.

Hearts that sweeten your heart

Hearts forming HEART

Sweetness that make you smile

Hearts going round that HEART

Simple things that make life worthwhile

Adorability

Was going through some of my older pictures, came across this picture and so I decided to boast about having this cute/annoying/about-to-stranggle-him-and-toss-him-off-my-balcony nephew to the world~! He's six this year! His name is Shiang Ru... Used to call him "Lu-Lu" hahaha

I am such a big mean uncle.

CNY wishes to me it seems but I've got no paos to give him.

The boy with his coke, DO NOT DISTURB; or else he will make your life a living hell >.<

Just want to let the world know how much I love Oreo Cheese!!!!! ^_^

Shrek at w0rk

Sorry peoples, I was busy for the past two days;didn't have time to post much. Here's something simple ya.
Werk Werk... can't take it!!! Seeing darl's room in a total mess, with hair all over the floor and all those dust and etc etc... I was like "OMG". Just took the vacum and literally suck every single strand of hair I can see or find. The corners was dusty and everything else. Two girls living together, and yet... >.< *speechless*
Oh well, there have to be a price to pay for having a good darl--help her clean her already messy room. ^_^ and I am not whining, just stating it out; nor am i complaining. Once again, the jOsh shrek is working.

felt like a overused labour (is there a union for people like me?)

Har! jOsh shrek at work~!

was trying to add some wordings to the board but darl caught me

and so I've to give her that innocent face that I'm NOT doing anything bad~

After all the work is done, darl went to shower and came with a surprise~ It was really like a "BOO~!" for me ^_^

This is how she look...

her demure look that melts *awww~*

and this is what she wore!!!! weee~!

bragging rights for me ^_^ (there's 13 hearts)

who says, shreks can't get happy ending?

After that, we went out... to some... shopping mall... which... I... don't recall... ^_^

Group Out!ng

Been ages since I hang out with my bunch of buddies that I've known a little over a decade. Friends all the way from primary, throughout highschool and now... we're the "- [nht] -" gang--we're no gangster or some mafia mobs okay?

We're just a group of buddies that has a tag name which makes things easier for us. For example, when one of them called up and asked if I am going for movie;he would just have to say "nhts are going, you coming along?"

Anyway, I was heading out with my buddies and we hang out in Ryan's place and his mother recognized me. She was like "Wah, long time no see. How have you been? You've lost weight and look more leng chai". SERIOUS! That was a direct quote eventhough some of my buddies was like "*coughing* *coughing*" when they heard that. ^_^

Aaron-- Kayden-- s!mple

This dude here is GROWING up and he's a great bud, Joyee

After hanging out and chatting a little bit in Ryan's place, we decided to go for dinner. Sorry, No pictures available for dinner. We were too engross in deciding what to eat and was too hungry to pause for pictures.

Once dinner is done, we agreed to go hang out in Amy's place and from there...

Ka-ra-o-ke Sessions in Amy's House (Aaron's gal; also a NHT member)

Amy is fumbling around with all the settings and so forth

As for s!mple, he's guy with not much musical gene within him and so he decided to sit it out

But... his darl saw it and just cam-o with him!!! weee~!

The girls continued on to sing their hearts out while the MEN went to do serious business, we gambled! We were playing "in-between".

The game starts of with all the players chipped in a fixed amount of money into a pool of cash. Each of us is dealed a card, the sequence of the first person getting the first card is one after another;either to the left or the right and it goes in circles. After everyone gets a card, then the dealer gives another card to the player.

Example: Player s!mple gets a 5 of Clubs, and his second card is Queen of Hearts. There is a difference of 6 cards in between-- 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack. He thens decide that the gap is big enough. He is eligible to call for a sum of money not exceeding the pool of money;maximum sum is decided in the start of the game. Then, the dealer gives him his third card. If the card is any of the cards between, he gets the amount he called for. In other case as his third card is not within the 6 cards stated above, he pays the amount he called for into the pool of cash. In events of him getting a card with the same number (also called "kena tiang"; he pays double the amount he called for. s!mple got a Queen of Spades and so he has to pay double the amount he called for.

In short, it is luck and your willingness to take the chance of calling a larger sum and s!mple lost over Rm130 that night >.<

Poppy Sessions (:

Was tempted to club, after being out of the picture for more than a month plus or maybe two months. On saturday afternoon, Mike called me and asked where am I heading and if I've any plans. I just came out of a training in which I was tempted to join but decided not to. He told me that he's with Vincent and they are heading down to KL for dinner or some sort--AND that they might be heading down to Poppy; one place I wouldn't mind going. Poppy has turned into a much NiceR place after the expansion but still, it is VERY pack inside Poppy-- Demand > Supply.

For those of you who don't know where's Poppy Garden; it is on Jalan P.Ramlee which is pretty near to KLCC(the shopping mall, and its only 3minutes walk away from Poppy). It is a place for all that you might want for a casual night or a happening night. Its business hour starts from before dinner at 5pm and the you can party all night long till hours before dawn at 3am.

Apparently, Poppy Garden is under something called d "poppy collection" that has membership programs, events, reservation and even priviliges to members.

First pic taken with Darl inside Poppy

Dancing away after that, drinking away with my darl. Down half a dozen of Chivas with coke (not my favourite but my darl don't take Chivas with water). Was enjoying the music and all when suddenly

Pretty Lady In RED!!! Pop-ed up next to me

and, she's my DOINK MUI TAO!!!! the EVIEL(Evil Evie)

Been sooooo long since I met up with this VERY BUSY girl...

And the night went on until a bestie of mine that has always been there for me, was dancing with her friend in front of me and I snapped her silly face in still memory forever. bwahahaha...

This is another super vain poserlicious Babe

this vain pot babe is my bestie back from the "negeri-negeri" and she's

KAaAyTiiii!!!!

Was just cruising around poppy to find some familiar faces or someone that I've lost contact with. and there I found

Capo Capo! a great junior from highschool *she plays VOLLEYBALL!!!

Random pic of me and darl

look at those bloodshot eyes and that happy face of my darl and you would know how much fun we had

Left the place at around 2.50am and waited for Mike and Vincent to come out. Did I mentioned that my stupid car broke down again? argh!!! Stupid auto gear lubricant is leaking and my car can't shift into any gears. My car was going down hill eventhough I floored the pedal >.<>

Finally, this girl is a real FRIEND of mine--introducing chou-chou(smelly =P)

but in actual fact, she's not smelly at all... she's Chou-Li

After that, Mike(driver) was being the super nice guy he is and fetched me and darl home with no charges. On the way back, we stopped by BRJ mamak nearby my place to have a light supper and of course ; being the nice guy I am too ^^ I spent Mike. The stupid BRJ mamak fella heard came with a wrong drink and still insisted that my darl ordered it. My darl ordered Milo Kosong Panas but he came with Milo Kosong Ais. At the end of it, I just finished both my Milo Ais and also Milo Ais Kosong. Sounds weird? It is pretty common to call Milo Kosong Panas rather than Milo Kosong Ais or is it Milo Ais Kosng? *food for thought*

Went to bed around 5.30am, close to dawn...
p/s: other pictures don't look so nice and in fact there are more to talk about but... time is a constraint.

Company Dinner!

Dinner at Imperial China Restaurant in Jaya Square, Subang Jaya. It is a subsidiary of Tai Thong Group. The food was pretty decent. The usherer was in a red fitting cheong sum*. She was pretty decent looking but most of my colleague says that she's from mainland China >.<

The place was fairly spacious and the atmosphere was soothing and comfortable. My boss had ordered a 9 course meal for the 11 of us.

The following are dishes that I actually enjoyed.

Nuts!! Let's Go Nuts!!! Love these peanuts... it is cruchy yet soft and have a taste that lingers in your mouth--making you want to have more. Oh yes, by the way--this is an appetizer.

Then came the "four season", love the sushi roll thingie--it has crabstick, century egg and one other thing which I've totally forgot; dinner was on FRIDAY!!!

Heard of Flying Fish? or at least a floating fish? This Fish was served in a way that it is like flying, one side of the fish was cut out with the meat served in smaller slices on the remaining fish and there are actually broccoli under it.

Salad PRAWN!!!!! MY FAVOURITE PRAWN!!!! yum yum... it was good but there was only 10 inside and we had 11 of us there >.<

There was also sharkfin, chicken and mushrooms. But they don't look that good so I decided not to take any pictures of them because; all my colleagues are too hungry and they can't wait any longer (hungry ghost). Oh well, all of us had fun eating and chatting about random topics. Another company ended with nothing really special but at least we had a good meal.

Apparentl--all three of them are SINGLE!!! need numbers?

*Cheong Sum - a.k.a. CheongSam is a traditional custome for chinese ladies. In Mandarin, it is known as Qi Pao.

Busy Weekend

Sorry peoples...

More Updates coming up soon ya... i PROMISE!!!!

Diminutive Tongue

Ear piercing, something that almost everyone can do, let it be a girl, a woman, a lady or the opposite sex. There are probably so many place you can pierce on your ear. I've spotted a person with closed to 12 studs and earrings on his ear--unfortunately, I've no camera to take a shot of his ear.

Women in India has been routinely practising nostril piercing for centuries--it is like a tradition and recently, it has been a fashion trade to the youngster to have nostril piercing(they believe it to be the "in" thing). And there are those odd ones that actually try to be a cow , bull or some sort because they actually have a Septum piercing that made them look like that "Cow Head Horse Face" of Hell.

Scary eh??? Angmoh Cow Head Horse Face

  • Eyelids

  • Eyebrow

  • Mouth - Labret

  • Lips

  • Nipple

  • Naval

  • Penis (different spots around)

  • Vagina (areas around; labia and etc)

There is this new kind of piercing that actually is done on the skin itself, on the surface there is just that little stud that sticks out. There is no exit for it. Still wondering how they put it in and take it out.

These are some of the common ones that people have tried. None of these are the ones I would actually try out. I personally have a piercing on my left ear lobe with a black crystal stud. *still awaiting a brand new nice stud and the time to pierce my tongue! *

But then again, there are also other reason to why a person can't pierce a certain part. If you want to pierce your tongue, it has to at least have a certain length--half your tongue out of your mouth or something. Unfortunately, my darl can't pierce due to her DIMINUTIVE TONGUE;short tongue-ey... ^_^

Piercing on the ear is quite risky, piercing anywhere else other than your ear lobe is VERY dangerous as you might pierce through some vital points/ nerves or bone in your ear or body. It is VERY much advisable for you to find a specialist or a person who has much experience in piercing. (typing it made me think about how scary it can be and I actually feel disturbed--as if something is piercing through other parts of my ear and body; try studying Biology and knowing how something pierce through your epidermis and your flesh and etc etc... ARGH!!! )

Overall, if you would like to try piercing--it is alright so as long as you don't hurt yourself or others in the process. At least when you're bored of a certain pierce, just remove it and time would help cover up the pierced hole.

Getting inked would be entire different thing. If you're really keen on trying on tatts, perhaps try the temporary one and see if you're alright with it--maybe it would affect how people look at you? These inks has certain chemical that makes it stay within your skin and it is actually inking on the pigment of your skin. It would last a life time, and yes... I know that there are actually tattoo removal services but are you really willing to pay that much just to remove it? And not everyone's tattoo can be remove completely. Some of you out there might think that it is sexy or cool or whatever it is. It is your life but at least respect the others around you before you make a decision that might taint the very skin given to you by your parents. Give it a thought.

Lunch at Kopi-Tiam

Lunch seems to be much later than usual today, went to the Kopi-Tiam near my office with my colleague only around 1.30pm when our lunch is normally at 12.30pm. Everyone didn't seem to be hungry--probably because our boss is around and we all feel rather gauche to just leave for lunch when "he" only came in at 12pm.

I was feeling a little emotional, probably a random moodswing I have from time to time. Feeling rather FAT too. Not wanting to take spicy food or rice, I decided to take "Cheng Tong Bee Hoon" (clear soup rice vermicelli*).

nothing fancy...

got cabbage, shredded chicken, fishball, fishcake and of course Bee Hon

*Bee Hon - rice vermicelli = sen mee (Thai) = mi fen (Mandarin) = mei fun (Chinese) = bee hoon (Malay) = beehoon (Malay). It is actually made out of rice flour and it is less fattening compared to the other noodle within its range--considered the healthier choice. It has a smooth texture that would absorb the soup and the essence making it very tasty. It is also very popular for fried bee hon, sometimes called economy bee hon that some hawker stall or food provider sells. It is fast and filling. Fried bee hon is much enjoyed with curry chicken.

p/s:but then again, try not to eat too much of something.

Breakfast at my favourite place in the world.
A very simple morning that started off when I was pratically forced out of bed but I didn't feel sleepy--instead, I tired and aching all over. Got into the shower and do my everyday business. Came out refreshed and ready to start the day when my tummy was growling for FOOD. Putting on weight lately due to the heavy breakfast everyday and my tummy is USED to having food in the morning that it had made fainted growls even before I got out of bed. Darn, I have to stop feeding "him" so much or else i would be the one feeling all FAT again.
Anyway--as I sat down on the table, I was greeted by this pleasant surprise. I couldn't wait to have those in my watery mouth.

Morning Breakfast with complimentary Orange Juice.
...

Salad wrapped with eggs.

Closer look.

...

Need i say more?

A healthy breakfast with all the nutrients you need for the rest of your day that encompasses Cabbage, Cucumber, Carrot and CORN(personal favourite)--all shredded and mixed with salad dressing; finally wrapped up with a layer of egg sheet (fried to a golden color and has a nice texture)

Of course it would be nice if there were some Parmesan or Mozzarella cheese on the egg would be wonderlicious.

A definite a 11/10rating* for this special breakfast set.

*applicable only for a good tasting food prepared by someone who do not have much cooking experience and used their heart into putting a smile on the face of the one who eat it

C i n a V a l e n t i n e' s D a y

Got to the office rather early today. Opened the doors and switched on the aircond. I believed I arrived around 8.45am.

Traffic was as usual, nothing much to talk about--there are lesser parking today eventhough I got to work much earlier, weird.

Was listening to the JJ and Rudy trying to add words to whatever song they are playing by "tweaking, increasing bass/treble and slowing it down" and you would hear some hidden agenda or meaning (isi² tersirat). Weirdies but still definitely entertaining. This is the fourth day I am wearing a red top to work. Never have I in my life wore so much red.

Last day of Cina New 年, it is called "chap goh mei" and it is the valentine's day for chinese. Singles would toss mandarin oranges into rivers with their love message in hopes to get a good match this year. Generations change, rivers are not very accessible everywhere and so there are also people who toss mandarin oranges into lakes and ponds too--I admire the adaptability of humans these days.

I am looking forward to having dinner with my family tonight along with the special guest (:
Last day of Cina New 年, must have family dinner and also to enjoy "yee sang"* for the last time during this Cina New 年.

*"Yee Sang" is aspecial Malaysian Specialty for Cina New 年; "Yee Sang" / "Yu Shang" / "Yu Shen", whichever one it is--they are just different pronounciation. Eating yee sang duing Cina New 年, is actually a reinvented "tradition" of the Chinese in Malaysia and Singapore--a dish of raw fish slices;recently they have salmon and jellyfish too(my favourite) mixed with crunchies and other vegetables or fruits that give that crunchy sweet and soury taste when added with the various kind of sauce. This dish is not part of the Cina New 年 cuisine among the Chinese of Mainland China, Taiwan or even Hong Kong. The fun of eating yee sang is pratically from the fact that everyone;whether young or old, man or woman at the table participate in the boisterous mixing of the ingredients simultaneously with a chopstick--it is also believed that the higher you mix the ingredients, the better it is for your year. Feeling of family togetherness, family bonding, affirmation of ties and also social camaderie is thus created. One of those few times where you actually play with your food with your entire family without getting reprimanded for by your seniors (:

A cause worth helping

Ever heard that high pitched "zoom" or "vroom" passing by and you would try and find where is it coming from. By the time you find it, you would probably find 2 dots of red light and a fainted look of the back of that particular car.

Look no more as there are cars lined up for you to see and adore and not to mention-- ogling at the CARS and those racegirls. Stand a chance to win a drive around the race course with a professional driver and a chance to drive a race tuned Porsche Cayman S under the guidance of a professional instructor.

There are also loads of other fun activities for you there.

D e c i s i o n s

Been reading alot lately; magazines, blogs, articles, newspaper and bulletins. Things crossed my mind. Feel like blogging but I just can't seem to get in the right mind to talk about it.

Rat Year. I am bornt in the year of RAT. Inauspicious year for me it seems and I need to "huan tai shui" to have a better year. At the same time, some people say it is a good year for Rats to change jobs. Contemplation for me.

Cina New 年 has is coming to an END. No more angpow collection and angpow has shrink in value this year beause everyone thinks that a working man needs lesser money; so it seems. Been eating so much of everything you can think of, chinese potato chips (nga ku, i think), all those titbits found in those tupperwares, pineapple tarts, cookies, chocolates and whatever soft drinks you can find. Anglia Shandy is actually close to double the price of Jolly Shandy. Wonder why is it so. They taste almost the same though.

As I am typing this, my colleague walked past me and tells me "Uncle Josh, your face is bloating up again... fat already". I feel a little sad though. Have to really stick to my diet regime. Not going to gain back as much as I've lost over the year.

Opss, I totally lost track of what I was planning to talk about. Things has changed so much recently, the blissful feeling of waking up in the morning, making it the best part of my day and also the urge and nervousness (butterflies in my tummy).

Everything seems to be more colorful and joyful lately. I have decided to switch from "Broken Chapters" to "Happily Broken" to express how I feel to have my life broken into little precious chapters that would be the sweet memories for myself in the future.

I even changed some of the color combination and etc. I am going to continue blogging more often and to meet more bloggers and add more people to my list. Willing to learn more, see more and finally feel more in life, "Life is Short, learn see and feel all you can in life before it ends".
