Wine Cellar is a place that I've heard of and wanted to go. Probably because I've never been able to save that much to pamper myself that much. Was randomly browsing through the net for some image about Ice Cream Motorcyle for my project and I came across Nicole's Blog and I just enjoy myself reading through and feeling a little hungry and *envious* of her--being able to travel and try out all the things. Wine Cellars!!!! hahaha... what a conincident... with the "s" and the difference is colossal--another store in KK; I think.
Oh yes, back to the reason why I want to dine in wine cellar? Been wanting to since I grew to enjoy wine despite the fact that I wasn't given the chance to enjoy the good ones. The best I tried so far was back in Penang on a business trip. It is this small little shop near the Sheraton. Totally forgot the name of it. It cost me about Rm 120, if I am not mistaken--it is an Australian wine.
To have a hearty meal in a nice environment made to pamper ourself, with all the small little details being planned to make the stay a more enjoyable one--who wouldn't want? Apart from that, I believe it is the small little things around us and the small little things we do for others that makes each and every moment captivating; not to mention mesmerizing.
From the moment you reach the area of Wine Cellar, finding your parking. The journey from your car to the doorstep. *the convenience of carpark and the route/path to the doorstep, all of these would give you a totally feeling even before you enter*
Just like you leaving that little note next to the bed for the one you love with a simple "Love the sweet smile of yours <3", and when she sees it, it would probably be the best part of her day. Small things can do wonders in everything we do. Details are the little things that make us unique afterall.
I would love to lay back and enjoy the wine served and to know where it originated, which vineyard and which year it was produced. Discussing it over with someone who has similar interest. Having a relaxing evening without hassle and stress. How else you would spend that one evening if not in such a manner?
Finally, the best way to top all of this--being able to LEARN more about wine, how to drink it, how to differentiate it, and everything else from Ron. Afterall, wine tasting is a pleasure that would be very much fulfilling to the heart and mind.
p/s: it would probably be different if Nicole would join me and Ron--AND not forgeting about my darl. SHE IS DEFINITELY COMING ALONG even if I would have to pay for her to come along.

Well, since you are interested in wine thingy, there's a nice place where you can dine and wine in. Place is called Vintry @ Damansara Heights and another new branch at the new Jaya 33 @ Section14. Don't know if you heard of it. Is a nice place to chill and hang out where you can choose your fav wine and enjoy it there. You can go and check it out.
tamz... so expensive... you're spoilt... I've yet to try anything above Rm300... >.<
lucky you... but then... i believe there isn't a "BEST wine" as there are different taste and likings for different people... probably for you... the best is from france... :)
christine... not bad wor... you're another person who enjoys wine? you're so darn happening... you know about vintry too? wow... didn't know they have a new branch... then again... i think wine cellar is a little better... i think... :) self-preference
Yeah, am into it BUT if only I got the cash to enjoy. Haha....
Yeah, there's no specific place for the best wine cause wine come from all over the world, different country with different climates produces different kind of grapes, wine and the taste of it. And as you said different people has different taste.
Well, if you really into wine, you should invest into a Wine Encyclopedia. Talks about wine of cause, the grapes, the process of it, the colour of the wine and etc. Quite interesting thou, even white wine as well.
